Service Detail
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Pelvic health physiotherapy offers private, supportive care for men and women experiencing pelvic floor symptoms. Your visit is tailored to your symptoms, comfort level, and goals.
How This Service Works
- Care can help with pelvic pain, urinary leakage, bladder urgency, pelvic floor tightness, prolapse symptoms, abdominal wall rehabilitation after a C-section, and prenatal or postpartum changes.
- We assess how the pelvic floor, breathing, posture, and core system are working together, then build a plan around what matters to you.
- Depending on your symptoms and condition, an internal vaginal or rectal exam may be recommended as part of the assessment. It is never required: your practitioner will explain the option, and you can decline or withdraw consent at any time.
What To Expect On Your First Visit
- The first visit includes time to discuss symptoms, pregnancy or postpartum history, activity goals, and any concerns or questions you have.
- Assessment is always explained step by step, with treatment choices based on your comfort, consent, and what feels appropriate for you.
- You will leave with a personalized plan that may include breathing, posture, pelvic floor coordination, and recovery-focused exercises.
